Continuing the charitable works of Jesus

Jesus Christi Foundation LogoThe Jesus Christi Foundation is a Christian non-profit public company that strives to continue the charitable works of our Lord Jesus and to glorify His name.  Our purpose is to be His disciples, ministering to the needs of the poor and suffering of Australia.  Disciples are followers of Christ, modeling their lives after His,  becoming like the Master.  Christ devoted most of His time to His first twelve disciples.  Before He chose them He spent a night in prayer.  He then spent the next three years discipling them, so that they would be like Him and do works like He did.

We believe in the two great commandments of our Lord.  "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself" (Luke 10:27).   So the Lord commands "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you" (Jn.15:12).  Second Jesus said, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation" (Mk.16:15).Helping Hands

Love is the "measuring-stick" of our Faith:
How will others recognize that we are Christians?  By our love:"  By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another" (Jn.13:35)... not in the fact that we say we have "faith" in Jesus, but because we love our neighbor!

Melbourne, the state capital, is home to more than 70% of the population of Victoria. More than 70% of Victorians live in Melbourne , located in the southern part of the state. The large city is home to an estimated 3.7 million people. Victoria is Australia's most urbanized state, with nearly 90% of the residents living in cities and towns.

Religion

About 65% of the people in Victoria describe themselves as Christian, about half of those are Roman Catholics, with the other half mainly Anglicans or members of the Uniting Church. Buddhism, the state's largest non-Christian religion, is growing fast. Victoria also has around 93,000 Muslims, 5,820 Jews, and about 17% of the population claims to be atheist1. There is a tremendous need through out Australia for the Gospel.  We at JCF want to see people become authentic followers of Jesus Christ, not religious, but rather have a close relationship to Jesus Christ.
